Shimla: Shimla is the one of the most beautiful hill station and also the capital of Himachal Pradesh located in the North-West of Himalayas at an altitude of 2,205 meter above sea level. Best features to attract tourists are its Mountain Peaks, Shopping Malls, Jakhoo Hills & Temple, Indian State of Advance Study & Observatory Hill, Anna Dale, etc. The city is rightly described as "Queen of Hills". The most appropriate time to visit Shimla is between the month of April and October.

Manali: Like Shimla, Manali is too popular among tourists, nature lovers, vacationers, trekkers, honeymoon couples. It is situated in the central part of Himachal Pradesh near the northern end of the Kullu Valley. Best features to attract tourists are its Hot Water Springs, Hadimba Devi Temple, Manali mountaineering Institute, Arjuna Gufa, Vashisth Village & Temple, Manu Temple, Snow Skiing, etc. Manali is rightly described as "Switzerland of India".

Kullu: Kullu is one of the most beautiful hill stations in India. It is located on the banks of Beas river on the Western Himalayan region. Kullu and Manali are complement to each other and, therefore, they are taken as one i.e. Kullu Manali. Kullu is also known as the "Valley of Gods". It is also famous for its sports.


Dharamsala: Dharamshala is located in the Kangra Valley, surrounded by dense coniferous forest mainly consist of Deodars. It offers offers beutiful views of high Pine Trees, Wooden Hills, Dhauladhar Himalayan ranges and Tea Gardens. Best among them are Kangra museum, St. John Church, Dharmkot, Dall Lake, War Memorial, etc. Colourful markets can be seen full of handicraft products including wood and metal crafts.

MacLeod Ganj: MacLeod Ganj is small but the most attractive hill station. It is also known as "Upper Dharamsala". MacLeod Ganj is known for Buddhism and Tibetan culture. People from all over the world come here to learn Buddhism and the Tibetan culture. It is famous for its two main art galleries i.e. Naam Art Gallery and Peak Art Gallery. It is the best place to have delicious Tibetan food.

Dalhousie: Dalhousie is situated between the Pir Panjal and Dauladhar Mountain Ranges. Dalhousie gets its name from Lord Dalhousie--the former British Governor General of India. The mountains are covered with Oak trees, Devdars, Pine, Firs and a variety of other trees and shrubs. Thus the forests are full of wild life including Leopards and Brown Bears. It includes many boarding schools where majority of students coming from Punjab and Haryana. The main features to attract tourists are St. Andrew's Church, Khajjiar, Kalalope, Gandhi Chowk, Panchkula, Bakrota Hills, etc. The best time to visit the Dalhousie Hill Station is between May and September.

Solan: Solan is situated in between Chandigarh and Shimla located on the Kalka-Shimla national highway. It is also known as "the Industrial Hub". Solan is named after goddess Shoolini Devi. It is an excellent picnic spot having lots of temples, agricultural surroundings, trekking and various fish games. Solan is known as "Mushroom city of India". Best places to visit are Parwanoo, Kasauli, Barog, Nalagarh, Nalagarh, etc.

Chamba: Chamba is situated on the bank of river Ravi and lies between the Zanskar and Dhauladhar range in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It is famous for handicrafts and temples. The main attractions of chamba are Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Chamunda Devi Temple, Rang Mahal, Pangi Valley, Bhuri Singh Museum, Chamba Church, Chamba Libraray, etc.
